I was really hoping that I wouldn't have another lung collapse, but it has. This time it was the the left lung, if it was the right again I would have had to go into surgery. But, to sum it up I've been not myself lately. This whole thing has been an experience.
I'm surprised by all the support and care I have received from friends and family. Besides the few texts I sent out, the card that Bre got people to sign was the first real show of love. The card really lifted my spirits, I was surprised. When I came back to school the word had already spread. People I don't really talk to much anymore were stopping me and asking how I was doing.
The week off work has been a real refresher. Work has been draining me slowly and I hadn't realized it. I'm happy to be going back, I think I'm ready.
I'm tired of being an ass all the time, I need to be nicer. This might tie into the work thing, but I've noticed I've been less patient and more cut throat lately. I really want to enjoy the last ending to my high school career.
This also might tie into work, but what the hell am I doing with what little time I have to myself? With all this free time I have had I wish I had someone to hang out with. This is something I plan to work on.
I'm not sure if this is just my mind or if the pain is real, but my scar from last time and where they stuck the IV sometimes hurt. Not real bad, but noticeable
The doctor's hinted at it, but didn't really say it. If I have another Pneumothorax, I might not be able to play trumpet anymore. That will suck.
The quintet needs me. Bless his heart, but Sam cannot manage the quintet. He already got us in a tough spot. . ..
I know my experience is not as great as others, but it's been a big one for me. I hope I get something good from all of this.
